Boulder Rural is one of the few places in Boulder County where you can get your child car seat installed or inspected. We are proud to provide this valuable community service free of charge. All of our car seat technicians have gone through a 40 hour national curriculum to ensure the safety of your infant(s) or children. We do ask that you give us a call in the morning before coming over with your car seat, as our on duty firefighters who provide this service usually have a full agenda each day. We also ask that you attempt to install the car seat before coming in according to manufacturers instructions. This will allow us to check your work as well as give you the opportunity to learn how to install it on your own. To make an appointment, call 303-530-9575 and ask for the on duty car seat technician.
Another option is to contact the CarSeats Colorado program coordinator, Angel Giffin, for a virtual seat check. Call, email, or text her to make an appointment. Email: angel.giffin@state.co.us Phone: 720-376-1391
