Since 2020, Boulder Rural Fire Rescue has provided dedicated ambulance transport to ensure our neighbors receive high-level care without delay. We’ve expanded our team with specialized firefighter-medics and equipped our units with state-of-the-art technology to bring the emergency room to your front door.

 

To provide the most effective response, our ambulance is always staffed with a two-person medical team consisting of a Paramedic and an EMT:

• Paramedics provide Advanced Life Support, including cardiac monitoring and specialized medications. 
• EMTs provide Basic Life Support, focusing on patient stabilization and essential emergency care. 

By pairing these two skill sets on every call, we ensure that every patient receives a seamless transition of care from the scene to the hospital. We’re proud to be here for you, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
